No it isn't. It's 1/8th of a game hidden in a map that's far too large for it's own good. Catalogue the amount of time you spend aimlessly riding around on Torrent vs the time you spend actually doing shit in Elden Ring and the DLC. I'm willing to bet most players spend the vast majority of time on that weird half horse half goat than they do actually engaging with the combat. Bosses take like 2 or 3 minutes tops, what are you doing the rest of the game?

Tbf this game is not bad at all, it's a bit overcomplicated and not very user friendly but if you know what you need to do, it's enjoyable. I would not suggest it for newcomers to souls games

NGL. on my first playthrough of Sekiro when i finally defeated sword saint isshin i almost cried and contemplated whether why i was doing this to myself. It was so satisfying but at the same time i needed therapy. Told myself i was done with the game but i ended up playing it until ng+7 lol

Even after playing all the souls games including the Elden ring dlc, bloodborne is easily my favorite game from fromsoftware. Its atmosphere, ost and weapons make the game perfect even though it’s 30fps.

I'm currently replaying Lies of P and it seems in year since launch they have nerfed the bosses a lot (I doubt I've become that much better). The bosses are kind of a joke now and obviously difficulty has nothing to do with quality (look at Elden Ring) but it definitely has diminished my enjoyment of the game. It seems to me that the boss HP has been reduced a lot and they are now more passive than they used to be. Lies of P at launch (at least to me) was pretty fair but people cried about the difficulty (even Asmonbald) and look where that let to. Don't get me wrong, the game is still enjoyable but my rating of it did slightly drop. It's still the best non-FromSoftwar Soulslike for sure. Edit: Reached the point in the video where he show evidence that the game was super nerfed lol. That reminded me of how inferior buying games digitally is. Only buy boxed copies (with disks inside them... Wukong...) and if you like the game don't sell it like I did with Lies of P. Now I'm playing it on Steam and yeah...

I hope you either replay it or watch the full completion cos not ONCE did you mention the best part of Lies of P; Spring the cat

Dude you gotta play Mortal Shell. It’s a short game roughly about 7-10 hours but it’s so good. I love the mechanics of the game. Can’t say the mechanics because I personally think that’s what makes the game standout. I would love to see you play mortal shell

That's funny, I beat the daughter of the cosmos in one try, but she managed to land a hit that killed me right when I killed her, but I still got the win. The bosses I struggled with were the hunters and the human bosses like father gasciogne and lady Maria. But my first playthrough of the game, I beat the daughter of the cosmos, darkbeast paarl, the one reborn, celestial emissary, witch of hemwick, and the living failures in one try. The enemies I spent most time on were father gasciogne and blood starved beast, I gave up for months after losing well over 50 times on both. Those two bosses got me to quit the game for almost a year.

You need to play like a real shinobi and use dirty tactics if you want to beat this game while not going insane.

Not just a nerf, but a largely game changing nerf. I played this through before the big nerfs came in and it was pretty challenging. Post nerf it’s way too easy IMO. In a way, it’s made the game a lot less appealing for me. It’s a shame really.

It’s a DLC that took 2 years to make, if not more if it was developed at the late stage of the base game development. That’s like making a game around the late 2000s. Heck, I wouldn’t be surprised if people feel like it’s longer than Dark Souls 3, without its two DLCs.

Lies Of P only comes second to Elden Ring... the steampunk style is beautiful! I loved this game; I'll buy any others in the franchise that come after
